OVER TWENTY YEARS COMBINED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Lyndsey Dunn

Lyndsey co-founded KC Auction Angels with a singular focus – empowering organizations to do MORE. Lyndsey is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a double major in Psychology and Elementary Education, beginning her professional career as a third grade teacher before starting her busy family of four in 2002. Lyndsey flawlessly produces extraordinary events, leading to record-breaking results for both her profit and non-profit clients. Lyndsey began her event experience by participating on St. Luke’s South Books and Boutiques Committee for four years, then Co-Chairing the event in 2013. Inspired to build on this foundation, Lyndsey joined the Curé of Ars School Auction Committee in 2014, serving as Co-Chair of the Curé Soirée in 2016 and 2017, driving an increase over that period in funds raised of 73% and attendance by 24%. She currently serves as Event & Special Projects Coordinator for the Senior Executives and Board of one of the nation’s largest privately owned companies, planning and running corporate retreats and strategic planning exercises. Lyndsey’s passion is supporting key players in client organizations make and manage tactical decisions and execute on strategic plans that realize measurable successes.

Lisa Zieren

Lisa comes to KC Auction Angels with 13+ years of client service experience in the advertising industry. Lisa is a graduate of Saint Louis University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a minor in Marketing. In 2015, Lisa left the busy world of advertising to carve out more time for her husband and two daughters, while pursuing opportunities to utilize her client service and communications skills for organizations within her community. In 2016, Lisa served as Volunteer Coordinator for two years at her children’s school, organizing and directing communications with volunteers across twenty annual events. Lisa Co-Chaired the Curé Soirée in 2018 and 2019, driving an increase over that period in funds raised of 17% and attendance by 11%. Lisa is a veteran at crafting event messaging and marketing to assist clients in increasing participation and engagement across both existing and potential donor populations. Lisa’s passion is proactively identifying problems and solving them before her clients are ever aware a concern exists, allowing clients to focus solely on the fundraising that is so critical to supporting the programs and individuals they seek to support.

Lynette Darby

Lynette co-founded KC Auction Angels with the intent of helping profit and non-profit client organizations build strong and recurring revenue streams through fundraising events. Lynette graduated from Texas A&M University with a BBA in Accounting, which she has utilized in various professional roles in advertising sales, membership sales and event planning. Lynette is a logistics ninja, partnering with her husband to raise three wonderful children, all while holding event leadership positions for critical fundraising organizations within her community. Her event operational experience includes: Event Coordinator at the American Royal; Operations Co-Chair at the Junior League of KCMO’s Holiday Mart; and Co-Chair and/or Board Member for a variety of non-profit events including Curé Soirée Auction, Curé of Ars Carnival, the American Royal World Series of Barbecue, American Royal Business Lunch, the Junior League of KCMO Holiday Mart, Stop Child Trafficking Now 5K, Covenant Chapel Missions Committee, the Theatre Company of Bryan-College Station and the Bryan-College Station Chamber of Commerce. Lynette excels in taking complicated and intricate event logistics and translating those into easy to execute roadmaps for her clients.
